The Council and Administration of the Village of North Fairfield would like to inform all residents that new Ordinances regarding water and trash rates were passed in December 2008.  The new rates took effect for the March 2009 billing.

Trash rates will increase $10.00/quarter.  REMINDER:  there is a 4 bag limit per week.  Trash must fit and be placed in 4 bags.  Please keep in mind that trash set out should not weigh more than one person is able to handle.

Water rates will increase to: $24.00 for minimum usage (6,000 gal or less), $29.50 for basic usage (up to 7,000 gal), an additional $3.00 per thousand (up to 40,000 gal) and $4.00 per thousand (up to 60,000 gal).  Any usage over 60,001 gallons is $6.50 per thousand for all water used.
